WORKSHOP DESCRIPTIONS
PILATES MAT EDUCATION
2 day/weekend education 1.2 ACE CECs
Enables group exercise instructors, personal trainers, or strong Pilates practitioners to teach beginner-low intermediate level Pilates mat classes. Includes variations with and without small props, including versa bars, Pilates rings and mini balls. Applicable anatomy, principles, and theory will be covered along with Pilates exercises.
PILATES LARGE APPARATUS EDUCATION
2 day/weekend education, 1.4 ACE CECs
Must have some Pilates mat training to take this course. Applicable anatomy, principles, theory, and apparatus safety will be covered. Apparatus: Reformer with Tower, Cadillac, Ladder Barrel, and Combo Chair. Upon completion, students will be able to safely teach over 50 exercises with progressions/ regressions. Great for private studio or health club instructors.
NOTE: For both trainings, fees include all materials/ manuals, lunch both days, a test re-take if necessary, and 10% off all studio merchandise (purchased during the training weekend). A brief practical and written test, along with 15 post-education practice hours, must be completed before Certificate of Completion is given.
We must have at least 5 registered participants to hold any workshop.

Pilates On J offers time-efficient training at a fraction of the cost through our shorter Educations. Remember that education is an ongoing commitment, and these programs are meant to be among many stepping stones in your ongoing educational journey.
